Try FYE, if you have one in your area. I went there this morning and found the DVD priced at $16.99 plus tax. The store I went to only had 4, so I bought them all ;D

I got mine at Wal Marts for $17.77 and there was 4 left.

Have you noticed that now they are even trying to bury all the Escape DVD talk with totally inane threads such as "I'm going to the Flea Market today"? That bunch is sooo transparent. It's really pathetic that they are that threatened by excitement over something that Perry did. Shows how very insecure they really are. I realize the current line up of Journey is trying to sale their newest cd Generations, possibly see this Journey Houston Live Escape DVD/Cd as competition, but geeze three of them are IN this SPECTACULAR DVD/CD project, so why not promote it on the Journey Website??? I would think that Neal, Jon, & Ross would see that as a good thing for them too.
Well anyway, I'm absolutely LOVING my DVD & CD!!!!! I play my CD every time I get in my car to run errands or go any where.My daughter & I have watched the DVD about 4 times & have so much fun watching it together!!! Wooo Hoo......we sure are enjoying this DVD/CD very much!!!

That would be seeing themselves as their own competition. The Houston DVD/CD IS Journey. They are showing absolutely no marketing sense whatsoever by not promoting the Houston DVD. All the people that come there looking for it or to talk about it would also learn about the Generations CD. What they are doing is just childish and very lame. All the Escape-era lineup stand to benefit ($$$$) from the sale of the DVD. It will be money to help them keep their UnJ-ness on the road, so why wouldn't they promote it? They may be afraid that those who "close their eyes and think Steve Perry is on stage" will realize he IS NOT, if they hear this DVD!! How any person could think those two sound ANYthing even remotely similar, except for singing in the tenor range, is beyond me.

I think Jon had it backwards - I think they all wish Steve would just go away.
I FINALLY got my DVD (thanks so much Amazon for taking FOREVER) and it is amazing!!

The way I see it, ANYONE who has seen Steve Perry sing live in concert KNOWS that Augeri sounds nothing like Perry, doesn't even comes close to Perry's amazing, talent!!!
Steve's talent is truly OUTSTANDING & this ESCAPE Live Concert DVD/CD shows how INCREDIBLE each of ALL their talents were together, so if Neal, Jon & Ross have forgotten this somewhere along the way, well maybe, maybe this DVD will remind them just how wonderful they really were together.
And sparkle, if Jon really feels that way about Steve ( and you could be right ) I find that to be 'truly sad" on Jon's part because WE the fans DON'T want Steve to go away at all!

I agree properry, I think they think that they can just put that time aside and replace it with a SP want to be (sorry but it isn't going to happen...ever..) this replacement is not going to measure up to the magnitude or level SP was or is to this day !!! Dream on you guys this band will never be what it was with SP at your sides (besides Steve Perry is so muchmore in every way!!!) ok I'm done
