Was at a flea market last weekend looking through some vinyl record albums this guy had for sale. He asked what I was looking for and I told him I wanted one of the older Stanley Mouse Journey albums - mainly with a cover in good shape - to put in a record album frame I bought. (mine are all well worn!) He said he used to live in L.A. and had seen Journey several times. Then he shook his head and said, "Man, they just aren't Journey without Steve Perry!" ;D

ps - then he sold me a copy of Departure- unopened -for 2 bucks!

 $2.00 that was a great deal you are so lucky.
I had a similar story happen to me about a couple of vintage shirts needless to say I did not get the shirts. But both of the stores I went to the guys there said "what Journey there's no Journey with out Steve
Perry."

I heard the same thing when I was talking to the manager of my local record store right before the new DVD was released!

I've heard the same remark from DJ's and lots of others. I made contact with a couple who had early Journey video's for sale and they were half serious when hey said that I couldn't buy them if I was a fan of the new lineup, lol. They were just kidding but they just had to let me know how they felt.

Hey maybe, just maybe that could be why they don't get airtime.  |

Hey sparkle2! I got a Steve Perry 'street talk" album at an electric fetus (store) for .98 and still had plastic on it !!! that was fun! it's in perfect shape... gwenied
