Is this the name of the track? Where did you find it?
I remember a couple of years ago reading that Steve was writing with a Tony Brock, something to do with that?

Here is a mini sound clip, im 99.999999% sure its Steve as that voice is SO unique... >>clip removed due to problem with my server at the moment<< Too many hits at once I guess... LOL but it knocked out ALL my other pages due to bandwidth draw... I just wondered if anyone else heard of it as I never knew who Tony Brock was even... Dunno where to buy the cd or anything, and not sure if they did other songs etc... Just trying to learn more about it here myself... Bill

Wow, I've not heard that track before. I think it would be really great, if there was a possibly way Steve could get a collection of ALL his duets songs that HE has done with other artists & put them ALL on ONE CD to sale to the fans.

I dunno if the name is correct (congratulations etc) heck I dont know anything about Tony Brock, but apparently he was in the babys or something?
I have to do some digging I guess - just figured it was me living under a rock here (figured others no doubt heard or knew of it and I was in the dark as usual) - but was hoping to find out some more about it cd wise etc (where I could buy the real cd for better quality etc) or if he was on other tracks from this cd etc.

Has anyone found more information about it?

Hey Bill, thanks for putting that clip up. I really need to spend time coming to this section of the forum more often! I remember Googling Tony Brock at least a couple years ago when I saw this mentioned somewhere else. I never did hear the song, though. It is so good to hear him on different things we haven't heard. Do you have ANY idea what year he sang that?

No real idea what era or what year this was recorded, asked Moyes about it he has not heard it (also asked him about "let go" cuz that had a FTLOSM feel to it), but neither were things he was in on so he didn't know... He did mention tho they recorded other stuff that never made it to the FTLOSM cd, so i guess steve has another few in the can so to speak that someday i hope he releases... Bill

Tony Brock was the drummer for the Babys....... I do have the whole song "Congratulations"......... and I don't think it is a duet.....( I am listening to the song right )..... Steve sings the whole song alone........and I don't think ( and I could be wrong )....... that it is on any cd.......

What have I done to warrant that attitude from you? All I said was tradiing was better, and I have given people who don't have any footage or audio of Steve/Journey to start them off. All I had ever asked of them is if they meet someone else who doesn't have anything, then pay it forward. And they wouldn't be out any big amount of money. As a fan of Steve Perry, I am willing to share what I have acquired with other Steve Perry fans. That isn't wrong. If I wanted attitude, I would of gone to another board for that.
