Perry Sox
While all the kings horses and all the kings men haven't been able to get former Journey singer Steve Perry to perform live again, he sure is bringing the Chicago White Sox luck like they haven't seen since 1917! As the 2005 baseball season progressed, Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" became the Sox's rallying song, and the team thought Steve's presence at the World Series would bring them luck. At the players request, the reclusive Perry (whose voice is still prime) has been present at each Series game and now the Sox are one game away from sweeping the Houston Astros! Center fielder Aaron Rowand summed it up for the team: "If we can win games like this when he's here, we'll have him come to every game. You know what? He'll be our Grand Marshal of the parade, God willing it happens."
