Is it just me or were you guys thinkin' what a crime it was that Steve didn't sing at the pregame? Lou Rawls and Aaron Neville sounded BAD. Wynona and Michael McDonald were slightly better, but Steve could have blown all those people away, even if he had a headcold and had not used his voice in years. He just doesn't get how much better he sounds than singers his age, even MUCH younger ones.

I didn't hear Lou Rawls or Josh Grobin. I thought Nevill was so so, but that Liz Phair...ouch...that was just painful. Even the guitar was off key!! Liz P really was bad, i dont tend to cut on an artist-dont know what they have gone threw etc but hello? this is the WS ,somethign you dont always get called on. The artists this year have been less than thrilling at their performances.
wasnt Wyonna on Oprah w/some weightloss going to do etc? shes very big. she has a great voice and is soooo pretty.
Michael M sounded pretty good. Aaron Nevill i agree arden was soso. didnt hear JG Or LR. Must be a tough gig to do w/so many artists not doing good.

It's my understanding that it is very difficult to sing in a stadium. Something about the feedback or echo...plus the acoustics have to suck. I saw Liz Phair on one of the late night shows last night and decided to give her another shot. I had to turn her off! She wasn't any better!
