Hi all, I'm back.
I was wondering has anyone here read the book by Neil Daniels about Journey? If so, was it a good read? I've read the reviews on Amazon, but still don't know if it is worth it to buy it.
Pick just one-I know it's hard (I'll be back to answer myself)

Nice to see you back! I have heard of that guy writing the book about Journey, but I have not read it , so I'm sorry, I wouldn't know whether to tell you if it was worth buying or not. I guess you could check it out on your own if you want to. As for picking out only ONE favorite Journey song that would be really hard to do because there are so many GREAT ones to choose from and my favorite would probably depend on what my mood is in for the day ;D 1) I know you said only one song, but I had these 2 songs playing in my car,"Don't Be Down On Me Baby" & "Girl Can't Help it" ;D Oh and I 'm going to add 2 solos of his too,lol "Don't Tell Me Why You're Leaving" and "I Am" That is just what I have been listening to today. 2). Personally I think SP looks good in all the eras, but I really liked the real long hair look "For The Love Of Strange Medicine Band" 3).His smile & his eyes. There are many great photos of him during his time with Journey but more recent ones too, to me, it is Steve Perry, so any of the photo's do it just fine for me!! ;D  |

Thanx for responding Properry. Yeah these were hard questions  I'm going to go ahead and order the book since hubby is paying for it. I went to the library first to see if I could find it. I agree with you and the depending on your mood thing. Fave Journey song- If I just had to pick one-then it's going to be Lovin, touchin, squeezing But my playlist consists of--Mother Father,Feeling that way, Patiently,Winds of March, Little girl and most importantly Foolish heart b/c that is the song that brought me to the world of SP. Fave Steve Perry look/era He was fabulous looking during all eras though I admit to not being that fond of his look during the mid-80's. But I will pick the Infinity era. Too beautiful for words. Fave Steve physical feature Everything truthfully, even the nose, BUT his eyes are wonderful. Post all time fave SP photo Will post later Steve with or without the mustache? I know some women didn't like the mustache, but I thought it was cute, but I prefer him without it. |

Hey prettyperry that is nice your hubby is buying you the book. After you read it, you could let us know what you think of it here. I do not know if arden or icubud have read that book either. As I said, it is a small group that post here, it would be great to see more fans posting here, but really it is the"quality" of the conversations that matter not the "quantity" of people posting. |

I'll be glad to let you guys know what I think, so hopefully within a months time I will have received and read the book. If a book is interesting for me, I can devour it in less than a week or less.
