In your opinion what is THE best Journey album/cd?
Lets not include greatest hits, live or boxed sets.
If possible provide a bit of an explanation.
BTW - sorry for the "absence". I think the dark clouds are lifting...

Trial by Fire. I like the maturity of the work and the spirituality in the songs.

This is a tough question for me for a variety of reasons #1 being i'm fairly new, so I never had a Journey album. The best for me would be a complilation that I put together of my own unique favorite songs, but if I had to pick a favorite album, then i'd go with Evolution.
a) b/c one of my all time faves b/4 I knew who they were is on there Lovin touchin squeezin
b) I am a child of the 70's, so I tend to like music from that era regardless of artist/group/band

well it is a tough choice cause I too like Trial By Fire, but I also like Raised On Radio .
A) I love the songs Girl Can't Help It, Be Good To Yourself , Happy To Give, Once You Love Somebody
B) I got to see ROR concert & it brought back some good memories & very good times, and BEST of all, it was an EXCELLENT concert!!!

I also think SP sounds his very best in this project.
