I know those are the ballads you chose for the poll, but just like to add that I also love "Don't Be Down On Me Baby" the way Steve sings that song just goes straight to my heart.

A great song where the listener can feel and hear the heart wrenching of the singer. Very real but of course one should expect that from SP. ;D

I agree about Don't Be Down on Me. Very Soulful. When you love a woman, though, is my favorite. I like the mature Steve.

Well "When You Love A Woman" won , I like that song , it is great as it came off of "Trial By Fire, and that is an excellent cd, but had a hard time choosing between the "WYLAW" and his solo "Missing You" he sings "Missing You" with such powerful emotion. And yes, I know he sings that way with ALL his songs , but the words of 'Missing You" hits home more for me, so that is why I chose it. |
