Can anyone tell me how to save this video clip of Steve from Chicago's cbs news so that I can view it any time on my computer, especially if their link gets removed? It's from this site: cbs2chicago.com/video/?id=17310@wbbm.dayport.com#If it doesn't bring up the video I am referring to right away, click on the "more" button on the bottom right side of the video section. It's the one titled: "Journey's Steve Perry Celebrates World Series Win With Sox". It's about 5-6 pages back in their video library. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Angie

Sorry I didn't see your request for how to catch streaming videos earlier... I used to have these programs WM recorder and RM recorder www.wmrecorder.com/index.php& www.wmrecorder.com/rm_recorder.phpto do just this kinda thing (when walk of fame clips were around) but it was a trial and expired, and I didn't see a big enough need to pay $49 for the combo program (some clips were real player some were windows wmvs) so I found myself using BOTH demos till they expired. Program is pretty easy and straight forward tho, and does the job, Just a bit of FYI, there is alot of talk about legal issues of copying streaming content, altho i cant see the harm in trying to save it for yourself before it is gone for good...but I am not a lawyer... FYI 2 This clip can just be right clicked and save target as to save to your hard drive.. (great clip too!)... perryville.freeservers.com/COTW22/Stevechannel5.wmvBill

Thanks for your help!!! I had a feeling you might know the answer! You are super!! I thought about the legality thing, but I'll take my chances since I only want to keep it on my hard drive. I have already saved the clip you mentioned to my computer! It's awesome! Thanks! Angie
