I wonder what the limits are?

Yeah I wondered at that part too, what limitations (after saying the hip is great) I realize he doesn't want the grueling 8 days on 2 days off thing but at this point in his life do what works for him, one show a week even (like les paul at 80+ does in NY).

Unfortunately, he's left alot open for misinterpretation with his physical limitation statement, but I didn't really think he'd get into any personal medical issues. Jeb didn't ask about any of the statements Steve made to reporters or exactly what, if anything, the Sox inspired him to do. One of my favorite parts:
Jeb: Some fans think Steve Perry started to overtake the band.
Steve: Started overtaking what?
Jeb: The song writing.
Steve: Those people need to get a life. They need to find something else to do during their day.
Yikes! I guess all those hits certainly prove his point. Somebody must have liked it (and still do!) Millions of people can't be all wrong.

What a intresting interview but yeh,, some things left a little open I'm excited for the 13 with uncle joe to hear more , I really think it's who is interviewing Steve , when it comes to him and his life but good interview!

The interview was great!
I just wish the interviewer had not gone in that direction saying that "Some fans think Steve was taking over". I just think the interviewer should have left it out. There are a whole lot more fans out there that appreciate Steve & don't think that way about him at all.
I loved the way Steve talked about the songs being his children & how it important it was for him that an actual member produce the the DVD package & not just let anyone produce it.
I'm just happy HE did it & WE are getting the DVD!!!

A very good interwiev, but his words about a new tour again makes me remember one of the Feb 3 answers: "What do you miss the most and the least about touring?
SP: I miss performing for the fans, but the daily traveling and hotel living I do not miss."
Probably touring over a year away from family, friends and home it's too much pression for a man who has now "a normal life"
