Thanks for the FYI on the questions being answered. He really danced around and usually did not answer a question involving "next new solo recording". C'mon man! SING! Let me rephrase that - SING where WE can hear you!

You know, I'm not sure that HE knows the answer to that question. It seems like he is facing a lot of demons when looking through this footage, and I think he has to work through that still. I feel like it might be his way of reaching out, too. In the OTR interview he mentioned that he had been told that Neal was "moved". Thanks for the FYI on the questions being answered. He really danced around and usually did not answer a question involving "next new solo recording". C'mon man! SING! Let me rephrase that - SING where WE can hear you!

I feel like it might be his way of reaching out, too. In the OTR interview he mentioned that he had been told that Neal was "moved". Yeah I read that but I have gotten to the point that I don't think NS would admit that they (RV, NS, JC) were wrong. I did notice too that a few times in that interview he did not mention Jonny. He did once about the piano/keyboard but when talking about the performance of the members - note - no Jonny.

As I posted in the Escape "Review" thread....wait till you see how he had his and Neal's pictures sort of "melded" together at the end of the DVD (after AWYWI). Yes...he's sending him a message. But is Neal too far gone to get it?

Well I'm very, very happy he answered my question!
I've always kind of wondered if famous singers sing to their own songs, when they hear their song on the radio, & Steve does, that is so cool!!! It was fun reading all his answers to the questions, I sure hope he continues to do more of that from time to time.

I finally watched the DVD and all the goodies. Now THAT was a Journey concert!!! Perry never stopped moving the entire time. He was more than the frontman, he was the cheerleader for the whole band! He really knows how to work the crowd, and his vocalizing can't be touched.
I didn't notice the ommission of Jon in the interviews. I'll "force" myself to watch it again. I did think that the last shot was sending a message to Neal. I just hope Neal's ego can move out of the way enough to see it. I'm afraid that Neal , Jon and Ross are so full of themselves at this point though, icubud, that they can't admit how wrong they were. Maybe seeing this DVD and the response to it will snap them back into reality.

Steve answered two of mine. Oh happy day. As a child my Mom always read to me and my favorites were the tales of Bros. Grimm. Did your Mom read to you as a small child and if so what was your favorite childhood story?
SP: I don't recall Mom reading too much at all but my Dad always sang to me, especially at bedtime.
Your songs have always made me smile whenever I hear them. What song makes you smile whenever you hear it?
SP: "Alea" by Donnie Iris, "Crazy" by Seal, "Baby I Need Your Lovin" by the Four Tops, "Cupid" by Sam Cooke, "Clocks" by Cold Play, Neal Schon's guitar solo on "Suzanne," Joni Mitchell's voice, Jackie Wilson's voice, the drums on "Rockin' Robin" and many, many MORE!

I also was surprised at the Donnie Iris mention. I have not heard his music for years. Even made me go check out his website today. You from Pittsburgh Sparkle2?
