I'm not surprised who got the old school award, but it WAS really nice seeing Steve on the TV screen and hearing the song. What? No video clip on VH-1 from the UNJ DVD? Ok...everyone in unison....ahhhhhhhhhhh, so sad! ;D I probably enjoyed seeing Def Leppard the most, at the end. I was never really into them, but it beat watching the teeny bopper crowd or Bobby Brown chewing the hell out of his gum. I think the new singer for INXS is no big prize for them. Anyone else watch last night?

Yeah, it was great to see Steve on t.v. and I agree that the very end was the best part of it... besides for seeing Steve on t.v. Def Leppard didn't do so bad... I like them and I voted for that song.

Same here it was fun to see Steve on the screen and the song when Laguna girlies came on the stage but ... wanted Journey to win............. g

ok what did i totally miss here? I am guessing maybe that show laguna that had that brief use of Journey in one episode? Clueless as usual, Bill  wait its vh1 that means it must run 5x each day right? So maybe i can catch a reair on tivo... |

No, Steve wasn't actually THERE or anything. They showed a clip of Steve singing in his Escape era yellow "heart" shirt when they said Journey was a nominee in the old school category.. They also played DSB when the kids from Laguna walked out on stage. Just nice to see Steve getting his due (face plastered on the screen!) when Journey is mentioned.
