Rockpages.gr: Recently you were inducted in the "Walk Of Fame". Congratulations on that! All the Journey family was there! I won't ask you how it felt, I know the answer on that…My question is: Don Henley when he was asked about a possible Eagles reunion, he always said that "This will only happen, when **** freezes over". Eventually, Eagles reunited!...Will "**** freezes over" for Journey?
Neal: No! I don't think this will ever happen! Steve Perry is just playing outside…the divorce is final. He doesn't want to come back; it's his choice you know...

Playing outside? Playing outside hiking? Playing "outside" the realm of Journey by producing two DVD's for them? Playing outside by going to concerts,making himself visible at Baseball games and giving interviews about the Houson DVD??
Who knows, it's Neal...Neal-speak is a great term. He says so many things nobody understands and it happens every time he opens his mouth.
As far as "it's his choice, you know..." goes...yeah, it was Steve's choice after they gave him an ultimatum over his hip. Everyone knows that. The thing is, the people that give a rat's a$$ are the ones that know the truth and care about it.

I think that Neal & co would like to believe that if they keep saying to the fans long enough, that it was "Steve's choice", that somehow we fans will just forget & won't remember that "phone call", where Neal told Jon to CALL Steve delivering that ultimatum to him.
And yes, everytime Neal open his mouth to speak,he inserts both feet. Nothing new for him! We fans know who is giving us the truth.

I think that it really bothers Neal when Perry comes out into the public. His "playing outside" was just a snide comment on Steve working on the DVD and keeping the Journey legacy intact while Neal and Co. are out dragging it through the mud and muck yet again. They love to say that Steve isn't there by his own choice...even Ross mentioned it in his interview, but in Mitch's interview Steve contradicts that by saying that he was given an ultimatum. Now...more Nealspeak...what is this supposed to mean? After the Trial By Fire "split", I saw Steve Smith and was able to speak with him.
My son asked him if he was staying with Journey...his answer was:
"Perry isn't , so why bother."
I think that says a lot. I agree with him 100%!
I just hope that every day Neal and Jon boy bang their heads in regret.
Because when they screwed Perry, they screwed themselves as well.
They DESERVE it, whereas Perry doesn't.
