Everyone I want to share with you a personal wish that I hope we can all agree with and follow.
Please do not go to other boards and cause trouble.
I know right now some at another board are going crazy criticizing this board and other so called "pro-SP' boards.
Please don't let it be said that anyone who is a member here was causing trouble elsewhere.
This board does not need to be defended at other boards.
Puh-leez
If you have in the past, please cease.
I don't want any problems here or anywhere else.

I have a board, but have NEVER said anything negative about this one or the people her.
I hate when people do that also.....theres no reason for it.

That is so sad to see other wanting to start trouble.It's just plain crazy.We have a great group of people here so it needs to be safe for us.I am pro Perry and proud of it.

I think some people just enjoy the attention being nasty gets them. The only boards I ever post on are this one and a private Perry one. No amount of name-calling or arguing is ever going to change my opinion, so why waste my time? I used to lurk around a lot, but it just gets boring reading the same ol crapola over and over...  sparkle |

I am with you on that sparkle..my opinion will never change either and why waste the time?...I post on 2 others and one is private also...Glad you brought this up icubud, nothing wrong with keeping the antanae up and working!

Who would want to waste their time arguing with people on virtually unmoderated boards with people who are out of control? Not interested. If I have an opinion, I'll state it right here! After all, this is a pro-Perry board and we all know how Steve feels about the "new Journey". No big secret. I personally have no burning desire to go to a Journey board to talk about them.

Having been a part of many boards over 10+ years and even having been a owner/moderator of a few others in the past few years, one thing that will always happen is bickering and fighting, it is SO sad to see happen and I just don't get it personally but its a certain fact it will happen on every board or forum out there at one point. This stuff happens in every type of board out there, I have a few hobbies and all have forums, same stuff happens in EVERY type of forum I visit, be it home theater, television, entertainment, music, boxing, etc etc ALL of them at times spark up these flame wars and bickering clash of personalities at times. I guess maybe its something where some feel pressure from their daily life but can't release it so they just bash online where they are faceless? I dunno but life is too short so I don't even stick around to read those posts, I just skip onto the stuff I came in to read about. I personally enjoy Perry and older Journey and have met many fans who feel the same way so beyond that if someone wants to bicker over whatever (to me) I just move onto reading other stuff. Hopefully our group here will still stick around and such heck its not even THAT big or crazy posting wise... The saddest part tho is how embarassed I would be to know if Steve or Journey or anyone (celeb etc) came to see the net and forums that had to do with them and saw all the in-fighting and or bickering, that leads us to want to censor or moderate the boards to keep things clean and then others complain about censorship or how their opinion isn't allowed to be expressed, then others get these mini hate groups festering and suddenly you find your site falsly turned in for terms of service violations or worse hacked and erased (happened to my old Hotel De Perry)... It is a vicious circle that will never end and I realize this after 10+ years of forum visiting.... about all we can really do is just read and post what we want to read and post and ingore the rest.... Completely agree with you. I'm in Spain and I don't have much time to posting here or other forums because of my work and the different time zone, so I won't waste it arguing or offending other people. When I visit this forum I only want to have fun, to know something more about my favorite singer and to prove that my English teacher isn't wasting his time trying to teach me this language ;D Mari Carmen |

no wonder why steve doesnt want to put up his own site. dealing w/arguing and bickering and people who are like" I know him, you dont' im a fan longer than oyu" who cares.

Well said. I'm not one to waste time on those that want the attention they crave by slamming anyone. I post on this board, and two others, one of them private. I am Pro-Perry, always will be.

The problems seem to be caused by only a small number of people who apparently have nothing more to do in their life. They will be removed from this board.
The Hotel is and always will be very Pro-Perry. Anyone who doesn't like that has many other boards to choose from.

I would love to know why all the boards can not just get along? I know so love journey as it is now & others love journey with Steve P in it.Is it to much to ask? If they don't like our Stve then just leave us be. I am going to take the high road and let then do there thing. Steve You still ROCK!!!
