From DavidPack.com, click news and scroll down a bit:
"David and Steve Perry reunited this month to edit the next single from David's "Secret of Movin' On" cd which will be their co-written song "A Brand New Start".. featuring special guest vocals by Mr. Soul himself who co-produced the song. It will be released in February, and Concord/Peak records are gearing up for a major national promotional campaign."
(here's hoping Mr. Soul will be part of that campaign!)

It's just a shame that Steve didn't sing more on that song to make it more of a "duet". With those two guys who were so prominent on radio in the 80's, I think it could have gotten some airplay on certain stations. Steve really sings out on this, but it is at the end of the song! I wish those two would do more together. I think they would be a great writing team.

David Pack has a fabulous web site, with music from this latest CD playing as you search around. A visit there is always nice, but I could not find the news clip you just posted. Maybe I am losin' it.....

Maybe I am losin' it..... When you go to davidpack.com, the first screen that comes up has a list of stuff to the left. Click on news, then scroll down. If you scroll all the way down, it's the next-to-last paragraph. I didn't notice it at first either!  sparkle |

Is the single out yet? I heard a clip of the song and you can tell when Perry is singing. Pack has a great voice, but when Perry sings with him, there is a mellow, velvet sound. It's almost ghostly to finally hear his voice again.

The song on the cd - i can hear STeve clearly and loudly when he sings back up. there is no problem w/recognizing that voice.
