I really don't watch this show  , but I am imagening it was a video and that is why they are listed  . Well maybe someone who watches this show can inform the both of us  . |

We watch it and tivo it each week, Ryan one of the main charactors is a big Journey fan, occasionally you see a Journey poster or shirt or a word or two or a snip of a song from Journey in there.
They feature bands on there sometimes too usually newer stuff but it would be cool if Ryan ran into Steve Perry in the OC or somethin...

The guy on "Scrubs" is a big Journey fan too although I haven't noticed any references lately. A couple of seasons ago he was sitting in a bar with Turk, listening to the jukebox and Turk said "you know, I'm actually starting to like Journey" and JT said "good, then you'll love the next 27 songs" My kind of guy...

Yeah, I think that's his name, he's the main character.
I've started watching some of the sillier shows, I'm tired of reality, murder solving, Doing Stuff with the Stars, blah.

Well last nights OC had Ryans bday and Seth decided to surprise ryan with a bday party with live band, knowing Journey was Ryans favorite he even said to Ryan something to the effect of "if i couldnt get the real Journey a Journey tribute band would be the next best thing" (or something like that) but the tribute band he picked was a Foreigner tribute band.
Then while dancing the girl with Ryan said this is Foreigner you know that right he just smiled and kept dancing... Seth while dancing with Summer (his girlfriend) at the same time said he knew this wasn't a Journey tribute band but Foreigner was 10x cooler than Journey and they played the song "Waiting for a Girl Like You" (Foreigner).
So Ryan was no doubt touched they got a band and threw a party in general, but somehow I think it won't change how much Ryan likes Journey , just them having some fun i guess script wise with the Journey/Foreigner 10x cooler thing etc... Seth is a wisecracker on the show and I guess this was another dig in against Journey but Ryan WILL DEFEND JOURNEY in a future episode im sure LOL....

I'll have to pay better attention !! I'm missing some good stuff, my kids interrupt me alot , like when I'm taking a bath, going to the bathroom, on the phone ,reading,and watching TV !!! nothing like a little privacy for old MOM!!! lol!
