In case you have been following the recent happenings with Sony Music BMG being indicted by Attorney General Elliot Spitzer of NY on charges of payola (sheeeeesh - like we really believed that all this c*** trashing the airwaves was played because they really thought it was good), our Uncle Joe is speaking out: "Monday evening, Joe Benson will be featured in the "Paula Zhan Now" program on CNN. I don't get CNN!! Hopefully, someone will post a transcript. I would be interested to hear what Uncle Joe has to say about all of this. I wonder if this is one reason Steve continues to stay out of the music business. I know he has said he doesn't like the business side of it. I'm glad that the payola scam has been exposed. I'm sure everyone has thought it was continuing all along, but now there is proof. I wonder if JDK knew the @#$% was going to hit the fan sooner or later and he decided to get the hell out of Dodge before that happened? He is a smart dude and seems to have been very respected in the business. I doubt he would want his name associated with those issues.
