There is another picture of Steve over at the swamp (Back Talk) in the Precious Time forum. Someone ran into him at a restaurant and talked to him, and he paid for their dinner! Not a great picture (taken with a cell phone) but he still looks good. It's under "SP Gets Around" thread...lucky people!

I saw that picture and heard the story too. He sure does look GREAT!! It sure was nice of Steve to buy their lunches for them, he is really good to his fans!

I read the story and it is said that he bought them lunch. For some reason I dont buy the whole story being true, IMHO.........

He was with a sound engineer and as he was leaving she stopped him and told him how much she has loved his voice all her life and that she was at the WOF and hoped that he felt the love and knew how much people missed him. He said that he did, and she asked what he was working on, he said he was working on re-masters and he was looking through old photos of him with the band and it was making him sad. He said he is thinking of performing again and she took a couple of pics of him with her cell phone. He left and a few minutes later the waitress came up and said that Steve had called the restaurant and had PAID for their lunch and wanted their emails to send them info of the new releases. My friend said that he was very friendly, funny and gracious and that he was LOOKING GOOD! I got the pic on my cell phone, and he does look good from what I can tell. The swamp!! thats funny! I saw the pic , like you say not a clear pic because it was taken with a cell phone but those lucky girls!!! Steve looks great!!!

Oh I dont doubt that they met at a restaraunt, I see the pic but something doesnt seem right to me....then again I am probably wrong.......
