Great to see Steve Perry mentioned and shown but weird to see the mini-clip of Journey without Steve Perry... Someone in the editing room doesn't know their Journey history, aren't there 1000 clips with Steve Perry in them to choose from?

Yea, it doesn't make sense that they played a Journey clip without Perry, since HE is the one that came to all their WS games, but I sure hope it is true that Perry is writing new songs.

Someone mentioned, on another board, that many of the Perryonlys have moved on and are happy at last with what JSS has brought to the band. It doesn't change anything for me. It's still just a decent vocalist singing the songs that another singer made hits. What pride is there in that? Not to mention that someone else did all the groundwork.
Sorry if I stepped on any toes here. I know that lots of fans love Journey, any which way but I would bet my last buck that the majority of fans want only Steve Perry singing those songs. If they can make their own kind of music, fine. From something that I read on another board, it looks like they don't plan on any new material until 2008.
