I am posting this on several fan forums but feel free to share this info: Fan Asylum will be hosting another Steve Perry Q&A session. Early next week we will activate an email address where questions can be submitted for approximately two days. We will post the email address on the Fan Asylum site as soon as it is activated. I'm estimating that the email address will be activated on Tuesday, but that is not set in stone. I'll let everyone know when the email address goes live. As before, Steve's responses to questions will be posted on the Fan Asylum site - he will not be replying directly to emails.
I have been getting bunches of emails over the past month and have seen lots of questions on the various fan forums regarding the Journey & Steve Perry reissued catalog. There has been a lot of excitement but some confusion around this, so here's the chance to ask your questions. Anyone interested should be thinking of your questions to submit next week as the window to submit questions will only be two days.

Thanks Lora! I hope he will get a bit more indepth about what he's been doing (or not doing) in the studio. I would love for him to answer more questions than just about the reissues. The reissues are great. I'm enjoying all the additions to the old stuff alot.

Thanks for the info! There are a number of other boards out there that this announcement is not posted on. how come? Because I am not a member of all forums and don't have the time to look into it. If I post on a few forums, the news will circulate around.

Thanks for the info Lorab.. I've got all my questions ready at hand ;D I'm looking forward to seeing the answers that Sp replies with.. Fan Asylum is hosting a Steve Perry Q&A session. We have activated the following email address where questions can be submitted until Thursday, November 16 at 5:00 pm Pacific Time: SPQuestions@fanasylum.com. At that time, the email address will be disabled. As before, Steve's responses to questions will be posted on the Fan Asylum site - he will not be replying directly to emails. We have been getting bunches of emails over the past month and have seen lots of questions on the various fan forums regarding the recently re-issued Journey & Steve Perry catalog. There has been a lot of excitement but some confusion around this, so here's the chance to ask your questions. Since there will be a large volume of emails received and Steve would like to get to as many questions as possible, please be brief and to the point when asking your question. Lora/Fan Asylum

Well, ladies & gents, I hope somebody here has posted some sane, sensible and not too personal questions for Steve. I have faith that those on this forum will do just that. I've read some of them different places and can honestly say I'd be shaking my head at some of them, if I were Steve. I sincerely hope Lora will be sorting through them, prior to sending them off to him. There are a few I've seen that I wouldn't ask a FAMILY member, let alone someone we don't know or have only met on a very casual, non-personal basis. You know he has to be thinking what a kooky fan base he has when he reads some of that stuff! LOL!! Now I know why out of over 1,500 question that were submitted last time, he only answered 65!

I would never ask questions of his personal life. Perry has always made that clear that his personal life is what he wants to keep private, so I respect that and stay away from personal questions about him. I figure if he want s to share something personal he would do it himself, so NO need for me to go there. I kept my question related to the music and was polite. I do hope Lora went through the questions first to possibly weed through questions that were possibly rude towards him, because unfortunately there are those kind of people that would send in some rude comments to him. I wouldn't want him to see those, it might make him not want to do Q&A's again for the fans, and I wouldn't want to see that happen. That would be sad for those of us who do REALLY want to hear from him. Anyways , I can't wait to get his answers, and I am very excited about the interview he is doing in Dec. with Uncle Joe Benson. He does have some odd fans. I have quit a couple of fan sites because some of the people are just plain scary. Wonder how many marriage proposals he'll get this time, lol. I couldn't think of anything original to ask, I'm sure I probably have the same questions most everyone else does.

Was fun to read but also frustrating to read, Steve tends to tease a bit at times, sorta hints and leans towards something then pulls away from the subject... I will still read or listen to his interviews on radio or the net but I don't expect to get much real "new" news from them.
