Steve's response to Reality TV offer

This is in reference to BT asking Steve to do the Tommy Lee Goes To College. Steve simply had to much class to make a fool of himself.

The reality show was the brainchild of film-music composer Brian Transeau. He was scoring "Monster" when his friend, former Journey frontman Steve Perry, visited the dubbing stage.
"Steve said to me, 'How did you learn all this counterpoint and orchestration, harmony, theory and computer programming?'" remembers Transeau, who goes by the name BT. "So I stopped one of the most serious scenes we were mixing in the film and said, 'I have the funniest idea in the world for a reality TV show.' "
NBC loved the idea so much, they asked BT to create and executive-produce it himself. But Perry wasn't interested.
"He said, 'There's absolutely no way you're gonna embarrass me on television,'" BT reports. So the composer phoned another musician buddy, who seemed like a better choice anyway.
"The first thing Tommy Lee said to me was, 'Can I live in the chicks' dorm?' " BT says.
