This is in reference to BT asking Steve to do the Tommy Lee Goes To College. Steve simply had to much class to make a fool of himself. www.dailybreeze.com/rave/articles/1671841.htmlThe reality show was the brainchild of film-music composer Brian Transeau. He was scoring "Monster" when his friend, former Journey frontman Steve Perry, visited the dubbing stage. "Steve said to me, 'How did you learn all this counterpoint and orchestration, harmony, theory and computer programming?'" remembers Transeau, who goes by the name BT. "So I stopped one of the most serious scenes we were mixing in the film and said, 'I have the funniest idea in the world for a reality TV show.' " NBC loved the idea so much, they asked BT to create and executive-produce it himself. But Perry wasn't interested. "He said, 'There's absolutely no way you're gonna embarrass me on television,'" BT reports. So the composer phoned another musician buddy, who seemed like a better choice anyway. "The first thing Tommy Lee said to me was, 'Can I live in the chicks' dorm?' " BT says.

One of the DJ's on a radio station I listen to just loves Steve and she is always mentioning him in some context. They told the entire story you just posted, Arden, and my husband called me from work to tell me he just heard it. I missed it!! #@$%!!

I have seen an episode and have to say Tommy is trying his best. Seeing Steve on that show instead of Tommy well....I don't see it. Glad Steve turned it down. Lately reality tv is so fake.
