Hi flossy, It's hard to say what Journey is doing , No information out there! I thought that after Journey's tour was over that they (JSS , Neal Jon) would be writing new songs for Journey, but I don't know if that has happened or not. JSS was supposed to go on tour with his band too, but that got cancelled , so I guess he is doing his own solo thing now. Personally I wish we could hear more from Perry.  Lori |

According to his website Jeff Scott Soto is in Greece with Talisman (some shows did get cancelled) so who knows what Schon & co. are up to. I may have to get Talisman's new cd, I like JSS music when he's not singing Steve's songs!!
Also like the way he posts on some of the boards and doesn't take any crap from the nut jobs, lol.

Well...JSS's site said they are open to more dates, what happened to the big writing session and Journey cd coming out ?

Lots of speculation, flossy. JSS just quelled one rumor at the Mr. board. He posted that he would clear up that one point but nothing else. What kind of contract did he sign, anyway? Didn't he have any protection, after how he bailed out their butts this past year?
I'm glad that Perry just said that his Journey is in the past and that he has nothing to do with this new incarnation.

I bet JSS didn't have anything past the tour contract, bet he was waiting for the big contract and well...it didn't come and he decided to tour with his old group just in case. I think he's known deep down it wasn't going to work, especially since no beautiful music was being made. They need to heal, take a break...

That is the million dollar question at the moment, I wonder if they even know what they are doing, seems some in the band weren't even aware of his being let go till after it happened (Ross).
