 You know it's been a long time ago when his name isn't even mentioned. JOURNEY suma concierto Así es, porque además de la presentación que realizará la banda en el Festival de Viña del Mar el 21 de febrero, se suma un segundo show en Santiago. El concierto se efectuará el 23 de febrero en el Estadio San Carlos de Apoquindo, y contará con dos números de apertura, Earth, Wind & Fire y Peter Frampton. Journey vendrá con su nuevo vocalista, Arnel Pineda, reemplazante de Jeff Scott Soto, que solo permaneció ocho meses en el grupo. Pineda fue escogido luego de que el conjunto norteamericano viera un video en You Tube de la banda filipina The Zoo, tributo a Journey, que dejó sorprendido a uno de los fundadores del grupo, Neal Schon. La presentación en la Quinta Vergara marcará el debut en vivo de esta nueva alineación. Esta noticia ha sido publicada el 27/11/2007.

Well now who wrote this article? I can't read it, but I do see all the different names mentioned for Journey, Arnel, JSS,and Neal Schon, but the most important one ( Steve Perry) is not even mentioned. That is just sad! |

It's from a Chile news article, announcing that Journey will perform with Arnel who is replacing Jeff and that he was discovered by Journey on youtube, performing Journey material with the band Zoo. I can't understand all of it but I think they make mention of Schon using viagra. I could be wrong tho. I got lost in translation. ;D

I can't understand all of it but I think they make mention of Schon using viagra. I could be wrong tho. I got lost in translation. ;D Neal's using viagra??? You got lost in translation, huh??? ;D ;D  Now that explains it about him! ;D  But that's still very bad on the part of Chile news to leave out Steve Perry in this article. Shame on them! |

The concert will happen on February 23 in San Carlos de Apoquindo Stadium, with two opening shows: Earth, Wind & Fire and Peter Frampton.
Journey will present the new vocalist, Arnel Pineda, replacement of Jeff Scott Soto, who was only eight months in the group. Pineda was chosen after Journey saw your video on YouTube singing in the philippine band The Zoo, a tribute to Journey, which surprised one of the founders of the group, Neal Schon.
