The vocalist did Faithfully, beautifully and Randy said that nobody could sing that song like Perry but that she gave it a great country sound.

He mentions Perry at least once every season! He seems really proud of his Journey days. A lot of people knock ROR but it's one of my favorites, I guess because that's the only era I got to see them live.

Yea, I saw the show last night too. I love the ROR music and yea Randy seems very proud of his time with Journey and always speaks highly of Perry's talent.
I wonder what Randy would have said if he had the chance to critique Augeri , JSS, and Arnel about their singing abilities of the Perry era of Journey's songs??

Randy probably knows a "dawg" when he hears it! As for the AI version of Faithfully, well there is only one version I really like but I thought she did okay. Neal should probably bookmark her YouTube vids for future reference lol...
