over at MR - same ol', same ol. Basically "I am wonderful, I made Journey successful, Neal is like my son, Steve Perry is evil and can't sing anymore and is personally responsible for the decline of western civilization." Don't bother unless you're really bored. Oh, and one thing, MR. Herbert - I was fortunate enough to see Steve Perry live once and that bit about him not looking at the audience is a total load of crap, period. It's ridiculous comments like that that should really make people doubt HH's credibility. Sheesh. Somebody give HH some crackers to go with that sour grapes whine... sparkle

You'd think that Herbie just rewrote the ten commandments the way that some are talking about the "truth" of Herb's views.
It was good for a laugh. I'm glad that Perry was as focused as he was, otherwise we never would have had TBFor ROR and that IS Herbies loss. Like he didn't know the status of TBF. Pttsssssss!

It all makes me feel twice as happy that Perry strong armed everyone to get us what will forever be what the band Journey was all about. I may be wrong but imo, he brought out the best in all of them and we got Classic Journey. Neal said that Steve brought the band it's success and Gregg said that Perry taught them how to play to a singer. If they forgot everything after they walked on him, that's their problem.

Geeze, You'd think by all the time that has past by that HH would have moved on with his life, that he'd be happier person by now. Appparently nothing has changed for HH, he is still the same bitter person he was, since he did that last interview. And about HH saying, "Perry can't sing anymore" that is so rediculous!! We fans know better, we know Perry's still got it!!!! Nothing HH says will ever make me change my views about Perry! Hey sparkle , obvisiously HH doesn't know what he is talking about, I saw Perry/Journey 3 times, and even though I was not close to the stage on either of those times, I could still see his "smiling face" talking to us (audience) and singing his heart out to us. He definitely made eye contact with his fans and he made a very strong heart felt connection that will last forever!

Yea, I read some of the views on "another board", some of them just automatically thinking HH is giving them the gospel truth just because he said so. And I think it is totally unclassy of HH to bad mouth the music on TBF, that Cd is FANTASTIC!!. I guess HH forgot his favorite one, Neal was on the cd too. Anyways, I just think he is just showing more sour grapes cause he wasn't managing them at the time that Cd was being made. I'm SO glad and appreciative that Perry was in Journey!!!

Oh well, Lora set HH straight by posting over at Mr. that she and Cyndi just had lunch with Steve and that he shared some new material with them and they said that he does still indeed have it. Darn it, we want it. Just have to keep believin'.

Yes, she certainly did, and, IMO, it is a much shorter and much more credible read. forums.melodicrock.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=33774&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0[/quote]Oh well, Lora set HH straight by posting over at Mr. that she and Cyndi just had lunch with Steve and that he shared some new material with them and they said that he does still indeed have it. WoW, this certainly made my day to see this news here about Lora & Cyndi's post! All the years that I have been on the message boards, I have NEVER had ANY doubts about Perry's singing abilities. Hey, I've GOT the music with Perry singing with David Pack and Jeff Golub, and with another band(Guff) that has sung with Perry too, well AFTER his time in Journey,so I KNOW he CAN still sing TODAY!! Besides all that , HH has not been working with Perry for YEARS, so why take what he says as the gospel truth?? And even if Lora and Cyndi "hadn't ever made that post" confirming his abilities to sing, I would still believe in Steve Perry!! I listen to MY heart! However I'm glad Lora & cyndi set the record straight for all the other fans out there that have NO CLUE of what they say about him, INCLUDING HH on that too. Now the BEST information was hearing Perry has written NEW MATERIAL!!! WOOO HOOO!!!!!! Oh Please Steve, let us hear your sweet voice again.... I believe in You, and will support you in whatever you want to do!!

Herbie Herbert is nothing more than a barker at a carnival in my opinion, he sounds ridiculous.
I trust Lora's words.
