This song just speaks volumes to me.
Whenever I was saddened by something, or someone...whenever my life seemed to whirl out of control...this song would see me through. It would help me cry, or help me think, or I would just play it for company. I'd play it over, and over, and over.
Steve's soulful, emotional voice and Neal's guitar just mesh so well on that song. Each time I listen, I love it more.
So for me, it's "Who's Crying Now."

Thanks for sharing. Quite surprised the lack of that going on.
Ironical is when the song came out I absolutely loathed it. Honest - I would actually change the channel. It grated my nerves. It was not till the Frontiers tour and being there and watching them perform it did I absolutely get blown away by it. Now - whenever I hear it on radio or at home by choice - it gets cranked up a few notches. ;D

I fell in love with the guitar solo at the end before I actually sat and listened to the words. Neal's guitar is soulful and expressive in this song, whether Neal wants to admit it or not...he supposedly hates this solo...
I'm glad you like the song now...they did play it on the radio an awful lot around here when it first came out...I'm in Northern Ky. I remember Q102 playing it constantly, people calling in requesting it, so forth and so on. They still play a load of Journey around here...never new...always Classic. I'm so glad they do that.

Q102 was my channel back then. Crazy Mark Sebastian was my favorite DJ - his favorite song by Journey was "Don't Stop Believin'" - which is my favorite on that album/project. That was back when Pat Barry was their p.m. DJ

Oh my gosh, those names are like blasts from the past, lol! Wasn't it Mark Sebastian who locked himself up in the booth and played "Everybody Wants You" over and over again when he was leaving the station? That was too funny....and very boring after a time. I remember Pat Berry too...I don't listen to Q102 much anymore, lol!
