I just don't get it. Ok, granted I'm no Martha Stewart, but I just don't understand why normal, educated people with a nice middle-class house and a landscaped yard, could look around and think "you know, what would really make this place look festive is an 8 ft. tall, multi-colored inflatable turkey!" Sigh. Redneck neighbors from hell strike again...

no lie there is an upscale housing development in Barrington that rents a radio station for the whole xmas season and you go into their development and the music/radio station is timed to the lights etc. I hope to bring the boys there next week.
personally? nothing says class as lights blinking on and off at a Tim Taylor voltage. NOT

I hope to heck none of my neighbors see that house... the giant turkey has been replaced by a giant Santa - and another house has followed suit with a giant inflatable snow globe. I can't believe how much those freakin things cost. My husband is threatening to get a mask and a bb gun and become "The Deflator"... sparkle

oh wow icu!!!! shesh lol
Our neighbor or two have a those giant snow globes in their yards but compared to the houses in our development they dont look huge. THey dont keep it running all the time. like from 7pm to 9pm that is it. No one is too outlandish here(thank goodness).
