Off Topic - Anyone seen that show about new money?

Sorry for the off topic but that is what this section is for right?

SO back to boring old talk about nonsense like us crazy Perry fans always do.

Was watchin tv a bit today and saw a show on discovery or A&E one of those informational programs, they were talking about the history of money showing new designs of paper money and how things change to combat fakes etc.

They of course covered the new style quarters and collectable editions of coins and money (susan b anthony coin, 2$ bill etc).

Very interesting show tho for sure, it reminded me I read somewhere there were some commemerative Journey Pennies out there anyone seen one or was that just a rumor?

I love the shows about history, (like the one you are talking about).
Never heard the thing about Journey pennies.
Do you remember where you heard that or how long ago?
I will have to do some searching now on the net to see what I can find.
That would be a heck of a thing to have for collection.
Been thinking about buying a couple of the limited edition Reagan dimes.

I don't like the new 20s with all the colors on them. When they first came out it seemed every time I tried to use one some cashier would say "wow this looks funny - is it real?" (No, moron, I just whipped it up in my basement)
You can get just about anything stamped on a coin now so it wouldn't surprise me if there were some Journey ones floating around. I have a friend who collects EPs - elongated pennies.
