Surprise visitor: Steve Perry, Journey's former lead singer, made a surprise visit to the White Sox clubhouse Saturday afternoon. Journey's anthem, "Don't Stop Believin," has transformed from an inside joke in the White Sox clubhouse to a tune that has defined the team's success. It all began with A.J. Pierzynski, Rowand and Crede being at a bar featuring a lounge singer on the road in Baltimore, and Crede calling for some Journey songs.

"It was fun to see him," Crede said. "For the White Sox to have him come in, I thought it was neat. I think he enjoyed being part of this atmosphere."

That is so cool that he went to the game! I was hoping he would go, even if he didn't sing. Just seeing his picture & knowing he made a suprise visit to the White Sox clubhouse put a BIG smile on my face.

He sure looks great too!

I am really glad to see that he went. There is only one name synonymous with Journey and that is Steve Perry. It is pretty obvious that we aren't the only ones who feel that way!! LOL Love it...love it...LOVE IT!!! His hair is really getting long again. I can't help but hope that means MORE than he's just tired of haircuts.

I totally agree perrynow , and the hair looks good ! I think he could have done a better job singing God bless America than that other chic! oh well! sounds like he had a fun eveing at the game Gwenied!

Steve was also at game 2 ,last night! its all over the news, papers etc.
i told dh if he sees stevep on the street i am to get an autograph via him! heehee. if hte boys were out of school we'd be down town walking the streets!
