...a gallon for gas! My Land Barge actually got a full tank and it's not even pay day. A couple of places in my area have actually dropped below $2.00 but they have long lines. When I started driving in the 70s I didn't know how I would afford that .65 cents a gallon lol...now $2.00 makes me HAPPY...I am so old... sparkle

Wow thats cool! My car has been at the shop for the last 2 weeks so I have saved on gas LOL, it's a friend of Laurens dad who owns a bodyshop I put it in for a few estimates, Its 10 yrs old and has a few dents and one big scratch/dent on the side so I was gonna have them fix it up, he looked at it and said about $500ish was his guess off the top of his head, but after getting it there and having the body, paint guys look it over, the final estimate was over a grand, I just said bring it home cuz that car isn't worth that much to me to spend a grand on fixing it up paint dent scratch wise. Once I do get it back though I will be putting some gas in my car and hope to get it for under $2.10 I did see $2.12 here the other day so its possible we could get in the 2.0x range soon! We are fortunate Stacey doesn't have to drive for work, our driving is just to the store, bank, pharmacy, library, etc nothing daily everyday back and forth I do know those who drive daily are enjoying it coming down into the $2 range again. Ouch Bill - body work is expensive. Heck, anything to do with cars is expensive. My husband sells Ford parts so I get a break on that, drawback is I have to drive a Ford (and can't afford a Shelby Cobra lol.) I said I'd settle for an Escape hybrid until he told me that a replacement battery is $6000 if it messes up. Guess I will have to continue to be a polluter in my Explorer. At least I got a Sport this time...
