Well, it appears that Schon and Cain are under the illusion that they have finally found the end all of their search for a replacement for "The Voice." Schon's undignified "F**k Steve Perry" and Cains latest remark that Perry WILL NEVER be with Journey again, imo, indicate that they feel that they are out of Perry's shadow, finally. Talk about counting your chickens before they are hatched and burning bridges.

Well, I thought for a long time Perry would be back but I do believe that won´t happen for a long time. Schon is happy as long as he´s making money touring, he was a little pissed off when Perry re-released the old catalogue and not the Augeri album Arrival which also is a Sony release. I think the re-recordings is a way of payback towards Perry. Look what we can do! sort of....... Revelation isnt that bad really, I hate the re-recordings...sure......but the new songs rock. I know it would be a helluva lot better with Perry, hehe.

Well Schon & Cain may THINK that Arnel is it, but as far, as I'm concerned Perry is and ALWAYS will be the best singer of all times! NO BODY comes close to Steve Perry!! Over the many years Schon & Cain have spoken badly towards Perry in interviews , and that has turned me off to them totally! I have NO desire to ever listen to their Revelation cd or any other music they make again. You never hear Perry in ANY of his interviews bad mouthing his former band mates, he has always spoken highly of their talents, he never goes to the "low levels" that Neal & Jon do in their interviews. I just can't support a band that "talks so badly" to /about MY favorite singer, Steve Perry! I've lost total respect for Neal & Jon! I'm SO looking forward hearing Perry's new music when it is made available to the fans and I'm hoping Perry gets inducted in the R&R Hall of fame in 2009! He's got MY vote!!

I think they are all high on the publicity they are getting with Arnel's rags to riches story...even though he had been doing very well in his own right for several years. They seem to be leaving that part out and making it sound as though they took the guy off the street. I saw an interview with Cain where he was talking about DSB. He said "when I was writing that with"...then, he had to stop himself before he said Steve Perry...and continued with "those guys". More and more Cain is looking like the biggest obstacle between Steve and Neal. I'm not buying that it is Perry's lawyers. I just saw that interview too. I don't doubt that Arnel had those very bad times in his life, but it does seem they are making it sound like Journey took Arnel right off the street. They sure are leaving out some information, huh. And for the way Jon stated that it sure seems he wants to take total credit for writng DSB. He sure isn't a very gracious guy! Well, it makes better press. Neal gets to be Mother Teresa taking the poor starving foreign guy off the streets to magically save his band. And for Cain to try to take credit for DSB is just laughable. I don't see him being invited to ball games and working on movies with "his" song. It's kind of pathetic that these guys are STILL so threatened by Perry's talent... sparkle
