I don't know if this is true or not, but thought I should let everyone know in case it is true, that a fan says that the Chicago News reports that Steve Perry will sing at the parade, if the white Sox win the WS. This fan gave no link to provide proof that it true, but I still thought I would share it with you all anyway. It sure would be FANTASTIC if it is true!!!  Lori |

Lori, we call that place "the Crock" for a reason! I hope it's true, but you can't believe half of what you read over there...from anyone! I know Arden. I certainly don't take everything that that is said over there as true, especially the "negative crap" that is written there about Perry. I just wanted to share it just in case it happens, NOT saying it will happen. There are several Perry fans over there that really support Perry like WE do here.

Thanks for the info, Lori. I am also doubtful (as I'm sure you are, too) of this, but OMG(!!!) if it would be true. Will the parade be televised, too? This is alot of excitement for Perry fans, ya know? First the Pack duet release, now Stevie plastered all over national TV & newspapers, plus the DVD coming out in a couple of weeks! And the hair growing....I still wonder what is prompting that. Now tell me...if he can generate this much publicity with a 20-some year old song and just his PRESENCE at the games, you can imagine what would happen if he would sing.

Well, according to the email from ABC7 in Chicago, Steve singing isn't even the rumor. His being the Grand Marshal is the rumor. I don't believe the Grand Marshals are required to sing.
