Steve's Message to Journey

A Message from Steve Perry:

In a statement sent to Oprah Show producers, Steve wishes the band well. "Though we've gone our separate ways, I will be forever grateful for our time together…the music we created…and our faithful fans," he writes. "Continued success to all of you."

Perry has always handled himself with such class & professionalism, whenever speaking about his ex-band mates in interviews and articles, so it doesn't suprise me that he would continue to behave in the same manner that he always has, when giving this respectful & nice message to the band on Oprah.

He sure makes me very proud to be his fan!!!

Neal Schon has probably never been happier, to have his former frontman acknowledge that the band is again successful and wishing them to continue so. Maybe Journey will invite Steve to sing a song with them from his new album. I can dream can't I?

I bet Neal, Jon, & Ross were in total shock after hearing Perry's very nice statement to them on the Oprah show. ;D

I'd be thrilled to hear Perry sing one of his new songs with a band that would REALLY appreciate having HIM in their band.
