I posted this in the original thread, but I think it bears repeating.
According to the email from ABC7 in Chicago, Steve singing isn't even the rumor. His being the Grand Marshal is the rumor. I don't believe the Grand Marshals are required to sing.
Since the rumor over there went from "I heard" to "my sister heard", I think we can chalk this one up to another misinformed post.

i live in chicagoland-1hr form it NO word when or who the parade will be. BUT I TOLD DH IM GOING. His response ? "of course you should!!! Get down tehre!!!" camera is ready!
