Here is an interview with Jonathan Cain & Neal Schon talking about the filming of Separate Ways. Read link below first:

First, I thought it might be an interesting read on how the band members made this video, but AFTER reading it ,I was greatly disappointed in Jon & Neal. I have NO idea whether Neal & Jon were telling the truth or not, about some situation that SUPPOSEDLY happened between Steve & his past former girlfriend.
What I find very wrong is Neal & Jon using this interview to spread crap that may, or may not have ever happened, or happened in another way between the both of them.
Either way it looks REAL bad on Jon & Neal because what ever took place happened years ago, and was a PRIVATE matter that was probably meant to stay between the both of them, but Jon & Neal went public with it any way.
Doesn't Neal have "enough problems publicly" going on in his own personal life drama to be spreading things like this in interviews about another former band member & his long past relationship with a former girlfriend?

At the end of that interview, the way that I read it, I took it to mean they were both laughing at Perry. I could be wrong, but that is the way I perceived it.
Neal & Jon have NO business laughing at Perry, given ALL the terrible publicity, that Neal has had VERY recently with his current girlfriend. Plus that VERY bad public photo of Neal's body part on the internet and Neal & Jon are laughing at Perry, REALLY? 
Unfortunately the fans got more than they ever wanted to see with that photo of Neal, and it sure brought on a lot of real good laughs too!!! So Neal & Jon before you take cheap shots at Perry, both of you need to go back & look in the mirror, especially Neal!
