Well that is certainly not true about Arnel getting credit for the new interest in DSB.

The credit goes to Steve Perry. It was Steve Perry's voice we heard singing the song DSB on that last episode of the popular Soprano Show, which made that song's popularity go way up.

And Steve Perry singing with the crowd at the San Francisco Giants World Series game certainly added a GREAT deal of interest to the song, not only to the song, but to Steve Perry too. It was all over the internet.

And DSB was also the song White Sox adopted too, and invited Steve Perry to their games. Also when I hear DSB and many other Journey classic hits songs , I hear the voice of Steve Perry singing on the radio, and that is the way I like it!!

So the credit should go where credit is due and that is to Steve Perry!!!

We all know how well Cain can rewrite history. I think the writer actually means that Cain is giving credit to Arnel for reviving interest in the group in general.

"Cain credited Pineda for stoking new interest in the group famous for such hits as "Don't Stop Believin'," ''Faithfully" and "Open Arms.""
