I'm happy too, he did it with another band. Just guessing on this , but maybe this let's him see that there is an audience out there that loves and appreciates him, but we the fans already knew he did not have anything to worry about at all. How could anyone not like hearing Steve Perry singing to them?? it is possible that Perry wanted to test the waters for himself so to speak. The majority of time media focuses so much on Him rejoining Journey that they seem to not grasp that Steve Perry has "way more music" to offer the fans and it does not have to be with the band Journey. This fan definitely wants to hear Steve Perry's solo music!!

Yes he does look real comfortable on stage and I would not expect him to sound the same. The voice is matured and more beautiful to me and he has earned the right to do it his own way!!
