Perry Sings

Last Friday morning, former Journey singer Steve Perry led members of the 2005 World Series champion Chicago White Sox and tens of thousands of fans in an a cappella version of the team's unofficial theme song, "Don't Stop Believin'." The victory rally on Chicago's LaSalle Street began with a ticker-tape parade which drew thousands to celebrate the team's first championship in 88 years. Thousands more around the U.S. also celebrated Perry's first public vocal performance in 10 years (and he skillfully stayed in tune despite the extremely off key vocals provided by the Sox!). Well even though I can't wait to get this DVD, I don't mind at all getting the DVD a little bit later. We got to see Steve on TV having fun & SINGING!!!

It was equally as much fun for all the fans getting to SEE HIM, as much as of a great time it must have been for him getting to go to the WS & hang out with all the White Sox players.

Tomorrow is the interview with Steve & Uncle Joe. I can't wait to hear what Steve has to say! I sure hope Uncle Joe talks with him some about him being at the WS & singing.

It's sure has been a "VERY good year" for us fans with Steve doing the public events. Like suprising ALL the fans by appearing at the Hollywood Walk OF Fame, that was the best & it couldn't have been an easy thing for him to do emotionally , but he did it anyway for the fans! And getting to see HIM at the WS games & singing was fantastic!

Then he gives us fans all these interviews for us to enjoy, plus gives us his time to let us ask him questions about this DVD that we will be getting real, real soon here.

I know Steve says he doesn't get on the internet, but I still feel we need to thank him for all he does for the fans, So I'm going to say it here, THANK YOU Steve from the bottom of our hearts!!! You'll always be loved & greatly appreciated by so many, many fans!!!
