Hey icubud,
I heard about the interview on April 16,2019 that is with Dan Rather. I can't wait to see it of course!! It is so great that HE will be on TV.This way we get to see & hear him!!! I play my "Traces Cd" every single day, still love the Journey music with him singing , but "Traces" has more to do with Him & of course Kelly & the music is so perfectly beautiful!!! You can tell by the way HE did the music Of Traces that he put his whole Heart & soul in to the music, that is my opinion about it.
Life has changed for me so much since my daughter has been gone. I sold my home. It just recently sold, that is the home we both lived in together. Lots of memories remain there that will never be forgotten!! I started a new job, and trying to get all my stuff put away in the place I live in now. I listen to "Traces" every single day. The songs of "Traces" make me feel close to my daughter, like "Most Of All". It is still so VERY hard to be without my daughter!! I'm doing things that she liked to do, like playing Steve Perry's music in the car & playing it extremely loud, she loved doing that and me too!!! I'm doing all the things we used to do together, always wishing she was still here with me, while doing those things. I talk to her every single day, that may sound crazy, but it helps me to talk to her. I'm just doing what ever it takes to get through the days.I just want you to know I'm still here!!!
And April 16th will be great!!! I hope anyone else reading this watches Steve Perry on the interview with Dan Rather and please post here what you think about it.

I don't know Steve Perry personally, never met him, but I have always held a high regard & respect for him cause of the way he carries himself publicly. And of course, I love his music and the way HE CAN SING!!!! After the interview was over, I felt he has gone through so much in his life in his childhood and has gone through many losses in his life. And I came away from the interview feeling even greater respect for him & feeling very, very proud of Steve Perry!!! And "Traces" is still in my stereo listening to it every single day!!! The video & song "We're Still Here" is Fantastic!! I love the part in the behind the scenes where Steve says, "the lable is buying me the car" I saw the interview on AXS tv. but if you go to youtube channel & subscribe to the daspudster01, that is the only one I know who put the interview on youtube. Check it out there!!! And as for the ring??? I must have missed out on something, I don't know anything about a ring, too busy looking up at his face and focused on what he was saying in the interview. |
