www.suburbanchicagonews.com/sports/othersports/2_2_AU28_SOX_S3.htmOn "about three hours' sleep," after celebrating with the team, former Journey lead singer Steve Perry arrived at Houston's George Bush Airport for a flight back to Chicago on Thursday morning. He was planning on attending the White Sox's victory parade, but not on performing the song he made famous and the Sox adopted as a rallying cry — "Don't Stop Believin.'" Perry hasn't performed since splitting with Journey, and isn't in vocal shape for the sonic stretches required by "Don't Stop ..." "It would take me three or four months to get my fastball back," he said. 10/28/05

Keeping fingers and toes crossed, Arden. Still patiently waiting! LOL Remember Steve talking to jacket during FTLOSM: "I heard a rumor that you had retired". "I heard a rumor that you lost your voice". Asks the audience...."did you hear that, too?" Asks jacket..."why'd you go spreadin' rumors around like that"? All the continuing discussions on his "retirement" and voice sure bring that to mind.
