Article"He was fragile," the keyboardist, 73, recalled to Fox News Digital. "When we got back together, I could tell he was in a fragile place. Physically, he was starting to get aches and pains. His voice wasn’t quite where it was years ago. He was a little leery. I think it had all taken a toll on him, after all those years." Has anyone in their right mind listened to TBF and actually come away with SP was not there?? IMHO the only reason these guys continue to say such things is because it is the only way they can generate interest in themselves now. It is another product too that is about the band we know and love as Journey that they are unable to recreate new material with musically that will generate interest=money. I, as many of you should know, have not been a Cain fan and I have a many good reasons (see my old comments). This latest thing AGAIN proves I am right about him. Hey SP, make another album/cd of new material and piss them off and frustrate them all AGAIN.

This article is so very ridiculous, Jon saying "Steve Perry wasn't all there and fragile" during the making "Trial By Fire" album. Trial By Fire is an exceptional album and Steve Perry's huge vocal talent is shining through that whole album. After all, " When You Love A Woman" got a Grammy nomination. I believe that "jealous" of Steve Perry's huge vocal talent and song writing abilities is the reason Jon , Neal tore his talent down in order to TRY to build themselves up. It is truly sad and terrible for a person to tear a person down in order for them to feel good about themselves. I am so very proud of Steve Perry for All his music and Especially his incredible, amazing vocal talent and song writing abilities!!!! After all, HE won the BillBoard for being THE BEST SINGER ever by ALL of his huge fan base!!!! And YES, I voted for HIM!!! He will always, always be my favorite singer forever!!! I will always be proud to be a Steve Perry Fan!!!
